According to Enrique Lazaga, director of the Ritmo Oriental; ‹‹the Picadillo, was one of the specialties of the Yulo. It consists of a spontaneity within the "time in
rhythm", while "Guatrapeo" is more rhythmic than Picadillo, based on the batá style.
 
El Picadillo has a fusion of Rumba, Mozambique, Pilón, Papa Cun Cun...
